Sparta Rotterdam loses two key players: Tobias Lauritsen and Joshua Kitolano. The Norwegian duo was four years crucial for the Rotterdam club. Together, they have enjoyed their time at Sparta, as they tell via the official channels. For Lauritsen, it's very strange not to be on the club anymore, and Kitolano is fully in agreement. "Four years we've been going to the club every day, it's not nothing when it ends. It's strange to say goodbye to everyone soon, but we've enjoyed it even more in the last few weeks." In 2022, the Norwegian duo arrived in Rotterdam. Lauritsen came over from Odds for 450,000 euros, and Kitolano made the move for 610,000 euros. The latter has already found a new club in FK Bodø/Glimt. The pair has already played 221 times, but there may be an end to that this summer. Lauritsen and Kitolano have a strong friendship from their time together at Sparta and Odds. However, the situation at Odds was different. "It's not that we never spoke to each other at Odds. We knew each other well, but we only spoke outside of football." When the two moved to Sparta together, it was different. "I may have had more from Tobias than he had from me, because Tobias was a week earlier in the Netherlands. He could show me the way right away. Without each other, this adventure would have been less successful." "That's why it feels strange that we're not only leaving Sparta, but also each other," he continues his story. "In the past nine years, we've experienced a lot and shared a lot. Of course, we'll stay in touch, but it's different from seeing each other every day."
