With a 9th place, Jong Sparta secured its place in the Tweede Divisie, but now faces a thrilling two-legged tie with the eager overall under-21 champion. FC Groningen's under-21 team and De Graafschap's under-21 team made it clear on Wednesday who would be the overall under-21 champion of the 2025/26 season. On June 6, FC Groningen's under-21 team will play a home game against Jong Sparta, and on June 10, the return match will determine which under-21 team will be in the Tweede Divisie next season.
